Our Vision
Imagining a Better San Diego
320 Express Your Rhythm envisions a San Diego where Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities are deeply seen, celebrated, and supported through culturally rooted spaces that nurture joy, healing, and collective power.
We imagine a future where art and activism move together and performing arts are used as a vehicle for collective solidarity. 320 creates intentional environments for creative expression to spark political consciousness, while making space for community connection to fuel liberation..

We are rooted in and accountable to the communities we serve. Every decision centers collective well-being, cultural integrity, and shared power.
Cultural Integrity & Representation
We honor the histories, identities, and lived experiences of Black, Brown, and Indigenous people by creating spaces where our stories are told by us, and ensuring communities are represented through the entire space.
Art as Activism
We believe art in all its forms is a tool for truth-telling, resistance, and transformation. Creative expression is political, powerful, and essential to collective understanding leading to the foundation of community solidarity.

We cultivate environments that are safe, accessible, and courageous, where honest dialogue, learning, and growth are welcomed and protected.
Economic Empowerment
We commit to circulating resources within communities of color by uplifting local artists, vendors, and businesses through equitable partnerships while ensuring the fabric of 320 pours back into community eco-systems.

We believe liberation is interconnected. We welcome all community members into the space through accountability, humility, and a commitment to meaningful solidarity, not performative allyship.
